We were lucky enough to interview the amazing Rachel Reid, the founder and CEO of Subtl Beauty!
We are sure many of you already know about Subtl Beauty, but for those of you who don’t, Subtl is a stackable and customizable makeup brand with the mission to simplify and streamline the daily routine for busy people on-the-go. Prior to Subtl, Rachel worked in marketing and digital, helping manage mobile commerce websites for some of the biggest brands in retail. She became inspired with the idea for make up on the go after realizing the market was lacking for such a product. After years of hard work, Subtl Beauty officially launched in 2019. The brand quickly gained traction after being featured in Business Insider.
In this episode we discuss Rachels professional journey and how although she was a reluctant entrepreneur, she found the courage to take the leap from idea to action to success, as well as how the idea came to be. We also discuss how she has handled the sudden success after being featured in a major publication, and how she has grown into the operation that she is today. And lastly, Rachel offers advice to fellow creatives that may also be reluctant to start their own journeys into entrepreneurship.
